Make a donation

There are many ways you can make a difference by donating to Books for Life:

Donation—Your financial donation provides one of the most effective ways for Books for Life to get books into the hands of children who do not have them. Make a donation.

Unique gift—Donate a book in honor of a friend, family member or work associate and you can customize a gift card describing your gift in their honor. Send a unique gift.

In-kind donations—Publishers and authors may donate your children's books or give permission for Books for Life to translate and publish your work in a dual-language book! At this time we do not accept book donations from individuals. Contact us about in-kind donations.

Volunteer

Volunteers are critical to the work of Books for Life. Motivated, caring people are the key element to the success of any project. There are several ways you can volunteer for Books for Life:

Virtual volunteer projects—work on these projects from your own computer, anywhere in the world. We post current projects on VolunteerMatch.org or please contact us with your interests.

Full time volunteering / Internships at our headquarters in Wichita, KS, USA.
If you live in a developing country and would like to start a library in your area, please contact us.

Fund-raising projects

Trees for Life has several items you can sell as fundraisers. These include buttons, stickers, shirts and more. These fund-raising projects will enable you to raise money for both Books for Life and your organization (school, club or church) at the same time! Please contact us if you would like more information about our fund-raising projects.

Become a partner organization

Books for Life will work through selected partners in a few locations. At this time we are looking for some regional partners. If you know of any organizations or individuals who are committed to serve the children of our planet, please share the following information with them. It will be a honor for us to join hands with such people and serve through them.

Service clubs

If you are a member of a service organization (such as Rotary International, Lions Club, Optimist International), a civic organization or other service group, Books for Life can work with your group to support a children's library project. Please contact us for more information.
