Books for Life International works in Asia, Central America & Africa

The very first model library assisted by Books for Life International started at a school in Allahabad, India in 2003. It is now a book bank that serves other schools. Books for Life is currently working in the following Asian countries:

  • India

  • Pakistan

The second library assisted by Books for Life began in a community center in Tisma, Nicaragua. It is now a model for other libraries in the region. Books for Life is currently working in the following Central American, South American and Caribbean countries:

  • Dominican Republic

  • Nicaragua

In 2005, Books for Life provided children's books for the very first children's library in all of Ethiopia. Books for Life is currently working in the following African countries:

  • Kenya
